Hello, I'm Wolf, I'm the human behind FerretFolk. In 1983, when Pennsylvania made the ownership of ferrets legal without a "wild animal permit," I got Gizmo from a local pet store. Since than I've rescued many ferrets. Unfortunately it has become too much for me to handle emotionally to continue as a rescue. So here I am in 2003 starting a ferretry. From my years spent with ferrets I feel it is important to breed for health, conformation, and temperament. I am an AFA member and show my kids so that I can be sure that they are good breeding stock (not to mention it's nice to be around other ferret lovers). I will screen potential owners to make sure they are prepared to give my babies a good loving home and that they know what being owned by a ferret is all about. Because I love ferrets so much I will not ship anywhere, anytime, or for any reason; I'm sure you understand. As I do go to several of the AFA sanctioned shows we can bring the kits to the show, provided they are sixteen weeks of age or older.
